Waterstones

If anyone wanted to know what ‘Book Heaven’ looks like please go here!!! An amazing place with loads and loads of books. The choices are unbelievable and one day isn’t enough! Loved this place.

Seriously one of the best waterstones I've ever been to. Staff are very helpful. Everything is laid out in an easy to understand fashion. They have a play area for kids. The whole bookstore doubles as a cafe and there are plenty of plugs to charge phones and computers.

The Last Bookshop

60 Park St, Bristol BS1 5JN, UK – 0117 922 7998

I can't believe this place. A wonderful selection of new books if all genres - £3 each and two for £5. I helped myself to six over two visits in one morning! Very glad to have found it on a visit to Bristol for a wedding.

An eclectic collection of new and old books, at an insanely low price. I always walk away from this place with more books than I intended. Highly recommended.

Foyles

SU21 Brigstowe St, Bristol BS1 3BH, UK – 020 3206 2660

My favourite book shop! A good selection of books, pleasant and helpful staff, plus a selection of refreshments. The staff are always enthusiastic and enjoy discussing favourite authors -- they have provided me with information about new editions to look out for in the future. They never seem too busy to be pleasant or helpful.

Great range of movies and CDs/vinyl, access to vinyl players to purchase. Lots more - 5/5 stars
